Hero Hands Care is an independent sole trader service based in Wrexham, focused on disability support and community companionship. The aim is simple: to help people feel supported, included and empowered while respecting their independence, preferences and choices.

Whether it is getting out into the community, enjoying everyday activities or having reliable companionship, support is shaped around the individual rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

1:1 community companionship & PA support

Hero Hands Care provides private, community-based 1:1 PA-style support in Wrexham. Support is led by the individual’s choices, direction and goals, with a focus on companionship, confidence, independence and safely accessing the community.

Activities can include bowling, cinema trips, pool, golf, football or a kickabout, parks, local outings and other community activities chosen by the individual and their family. Transport can also form part of agreed community support.

The aim is to help people enjoy and access their community safely while also giving families some valuable time for themselves.

Please note: activity tickets, admission charges, food and other personal expenses are separate from the support price.

Funding: funding arrangements and Direct Payment eligibility can vary. Families of under-18s should check with Wrexham Council or their relevant support professional to confirm whether funding can be used for this service.
